Thank you for the very thoughtful comments. I'm not really sure where I'm headed either. I'm just intrigued by how unusual angles and use of a macro lens make something familiar into something alien. Haven't really gotten the shot I want yet, and may at some point invest in a better lens because I'm thinking that I need to get closer.

thanks for the fav! i really like your gallery. your nudes are quite unconvential. i'm not quite sure what you are exploring, but it's very interesting. especially that the models and shots you choose to do (the macros) are not your "typical" artistic nudes & bodyscapes about beauty & sexuality. they seem to explore maybe what's not typically seen as beautiful, maybe things some people would not want to see. i think that's a powerful thing to explore.
